Pre-Licensing We currently offer a Pre-Licensing course for Limited Lines Producers. Minimum class attendance is 5 students if we arrange the conference setting and 3 if we perform the course In-house. About two weeks before the 5-hour seminar, we'll mail the workbook to participants. It covers all material upon which exam questions are based, including the following topics: life and disability insurance basics; Montana statues, laws, and regulations pertaining to all lines of insurance; and those statutes, laws, and regulations pertaining specifically to limited lines credit insurance. Our workbook also contains a study guide and information about preparing for the exam, making exam reservations, exam day, and other requirements for licensing. It is the responsibility of the participants to register for their licensing exams. Pearson Vue, the state's vendor for licensing exams, runs various test centers. Individuals taking the licensing exam will be given one of several exams, all of which contain questions drawn from a pool of many, many questions. The exam lasts 45 minutes and contains 30 questions. It is imperative that individuals attending the seminar and taking the licensing exam be familiar with the material contained in the workbook prior to attending the course. We hold our seminars on Fridays and we recommend that participants take their exams the next day, on Saturday. The cost for our course is $175 per individual. No refund will be given once a workbook has been shipped. Participants who do not pass their licensing exam may re-take our seminar at no charge. Our procedures for holding the Limited Lines Credit Pre-licensing course In-House are the same as those for our Seminar Format, except that we conduct the seminar at your location, or a location of your choosing.
